Alan Watts - How to Figure out What you really Want

Ask people what they want, and you'll find something extremely peculiar... they will almost every time tell you what they DON'T want.

Why is this?

Well, for starters it tells you that although this person knows what they don't want, or want less of, they have no idea what they DO want in life. It also shows you exactly where they're focus is, and why they haven't been getting the results they wanted.

What happens when you're driving a car and you look off to the side into the fields? Which direction will the car tend to start traveling in?

Life is no different - don't spend all your time focusing on things you don't want as this is a sure fire way to get more of what you DON'T want in your life! Instead, shift your focus onto the things you want more of and watch the world open up to you...

WHY WE ALL NEED PAIN

HOW UTTER HEARTBREAK CAN LEAD TO A GREATER LIFE

Pain is part of life. And while it is seen by most as something to be avoided, pain can actually be a good thing. It opens a well and presents you with a valuable opportunity to grow. But it’s your job to decide what you are going to fill it up with — love or fear. And it’s this choice that can take you to an entirely new realm of possibilities, because even if you do not understand why you lost love, you know that there is something beautiful that can come from it. There’s something more inside of you because of it.There isn’t much in the world that is more painful than a broken heart. And most will say that there’s no salve but time to take that pain away. But why are we so quick to speed through and even negate the pain? Why do we distract ourselves from feeling emotions that can actually help us find more closure on the love that has been lost?
relationships_2

REALIZATION

While it can be scary to acknowledge change, you can find strength by commanding it. Tell yourself that things will never be the same. That you will never be the same. But this is an opportunity to realize new levels of opportunity and growth. And this doesn’t just mean in the long run.
Realize that you may not be able to have control over what is happening, there are certain things you can control. For example: your body. When you take control of your body, the mind and emotions will respond. Become emotionally strong by first getting physically fit. Put your body first, get into a peak state, and you will be able to change your perspective on pain.
Realize that you also have the power to feed your mind. You can dwell in memories of your relationship and replay the breakup over and over. Or you can feed your mind information, poetry, spirituality. You can use the pain to discover more about yourself and what you want in life.
Realize that pain is a signal to turn inward. And taking control of your physicality and your emotional state is the first step towards a higher level of self-discovery and evolution.

CONNECTION

Sadness allows us to connect with ourselves. As bad as it feels, we connect. We connect with our emotions, we connect with our memories and we connect with our thoughts. This is why it is comfortable to stay in sadness and difficult to transcend — we are meeting our need for connection.
The only way out of this is to have something else you want to connect with more. You have to ask yourself, what do you value more than your pain? Do you value helping other people more? Perhaps you value helping animals? Ask yourself: “What is the reason I am here?”
By shifting the focus from yourself to something else, you’ll learn how to gradually let go of your pain and move on. This is the power of contribution.
Understanding how to find meaning out of your pain is a way to take a broken heart and turn it into something that will help you grow and expand your ability to love. We have to go through the emotions of shock, denial, hurt and anger. But eventually there is acceptance. And the best way to reach peace is to find a higher meaning out of our need to serve others.
relationships_3

UTILIZATION

If you can use your heartache to find a more empowering meaning, then you can take that same experience and say: “I’m going to take control of my life. I’m going to make a change.” Rather than sitting and becoming a reaction — making yourself the effect of the event — you are realizing that you have the power to determine what things mean and how you will approach life from this point forward.
One of the keys to utilization is envisioning a compelling future. What does your new vision look like? What are you going to be doing differently in the future? And what are you going to do differently today?
Remember, if you don’t take control and make the necessary changes, weeds are going to grow automatically. But if you learn and adapt, you can achieve a new level of living that would have never been possible had you not gone through the heartache you did.

Waking up Early Is Easier Than You Think: 10 Simple Things Early Risers Do

It all started when I read Laura Vanderkam’s What the Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast. This was at a time where I was fed up with my hectic lifestyle – a lifestyle we’re all made to feel we “should” want – so I began spending every spare moment learning various ways to get out of my rut. I learned not only who out of the insanely successful wake up early, but why, and how they spend that time. It sounded glorious!
So that settled it: I was going to become a morning person. Clearly you’d like to do the same or you wouldn’t be here. So, without further ado, here are 10 simple strategies on how to wake up early:

1. Let go of your morning baggage.

Like me, you’ve probably spent years cultivating your “mornings are evil” attitude: hitting the snooze button 37,256 times, dragging yourself out of bed just to grunt like a cave person until your coffee’s ready, and sharing every “I hate mornings” meme you can find on Facebook.
Let it all go. Throw away every misconception embedded in you since school and start this process with a clean slate. The only way you’ll succeed is if your mind remains open and free of negativity.

2. Picture your ideal morning.

This is one of those rare situations where you actually can make your fantasy a reality. Picture yourself as the morning person you want to become: what do your mornings consist of? Are you quietly drinking your coffee on the patio? Reading a book? Doing yoga?
Also, what’s the atmosphere like? This will help you lay the groundwork for what will later become your morning routine. For example, if you want to drink your coffee on the patio but your dog won’t even spend time on it, use days off to create an environment you’d want to wake up to.

3. Tell only your loved ones about your plans.

At first, only share the changes you’d like to make with those you live with, since they too have to adjust to your new routine. Don’t tell anyone else until you’ve made considerable progress. Otherwise, their attitude toward mornings might negatively impact your frame of mind – or worse, their lack of follow-through in their own lives might rub off on you.

4. Only focus on one act at a time.

Don’t do what I did and attempt to set a deadline for when you’d like to wake up early – it won’t happen. You never know what circumstances will get in the way of your progress, whether it be emotional resistance, or personal or professional setbacks. Take your time.
Focus on one act at a time: take note of what time you wake up now and when you’d like to wake up from now on. Set your alarm for 15 to 30 minutes earlier, and once you’re comfortable getting up at that time, set it earlier again, and again, until you’re comfortably waking up at your new early time.

5. Find an alarm that doesn’t turn you into the Hulk.

Some people have no problem with alarm clocks, but I find the beeping to be unnerving. I’m more comfortable waking up to the radio – it’s less abrupt and helps me transition into waking up, as opposed to startling me into an anxiety attack. Test out various alarm options and see which works best for you.

6. Keep your mornings pressure-free.

One thing we tend to lose as adults is the feeling of freedom we had as kids. When we had no sense of schedule, deadlines, goals, or pressure, we were always emotionally available and our imaginations made us feel like anything was possible. I’m not sure when this became “uncool,” but it’s truly the best way to start your day.

What are the things you always want to do but never get to do? Establish what you love to do into your morning routine and stop feeling guilty about it! Not only will you start your work day refreshed and motivated, you’re more likely to wake up early when you’re excited to do so. When I started doing exactly what I wanted to do in the morning, my attitude toward everything changed and I became better equipped to handle future stress and challenges.
There’s no better feeling than creating a protected pocket of time when you can do what you love for no other reason than you want to.

7. Eliminate excuses to sleep in.

As you continue to adjust your sleep cycle, some days will be harder than others. There will be mornings where you’ll do everything to justify shutting off your alarm and going right back to sleep. Sometimes it will work, and you’ll want to slap yourself later for letting it happen.
During this rough patch, do what you can to make your mornings easier: if you’re so tired you even dread making coffee, program your coffee maker. If your home is cold in the morning, leave your housecoat and slippers beside your bed. If your mind flat lines when you try to decide on breakfast, decide the night before and prep the ingredients. Eventually, your abilities to wake up early and function will happen at the same time, but for now, throw yourself a bone.

8. Refuse to break the chain.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the productivity hack “break the chain,” where you consider each day you accomplish your new habit a “chain link.” If you miss a day, you break the chain. It’s a great (and simple) way to stay motivated and push through the mornings you’d rather bathe with a toaster than wake up early.

9. Keep track of what you’ve accomplished.

One of the biggest motivators to continue waking up early is keeping track of what you accomplish when you first get up. By 9am, I have all of my major work accomplished while everyone else is just getting started. It gives a sense of calm to the rest of my day, because I don’t have to worry about interruptions or distractions preventing me from accomplishing my goals – they’re already met. Game. Set. Match.

10. Practice waking up early.

If you’re struggling to break up with your snooze button, try this: during the day, setup your bedroom as if it’s early morning and your alarm’s about to go off. Set your alarm for a few minutes from now, and practice getting up when it goes off sans snooze button. Alarm goes off, stand up. Alarm goes off, stand up, and so forth. This practice will eventually translate into you waking up early – and successfully.

Where Do You Spend Your Time? Past, Present or Future?

There are three places where you can live your life:

1. In the past - People who have regrets and are "stuck" thinking about things that cannot be corrected often experience depression. Some therapists believe that anger turned inward becomes depression. So, when you combine past hurts with anger but pretend that everything is okay you are setting yourself up for trouble! It is like trying to hold a beach under water. You put all your energy into trying to hold it down but that won't last for very long. You can try to hold your emotions down but when they pop up everyone, including you will likely be surprised by their intensity.

2. In the future - Fear, control, perfectionism, worry and anxiety are all cousins. Sometimes people focus all their energy on what hasn't even happened yet. Their fear causes them to want to control things and often leads to perfectionism, worry and anxiety. "What if... ?" is a frequent phrase used by individuals who tend to focus on the future.

3. In the present - Sometimes today is filled with boredom and loneliness. Sometimes it seems stressful and challenging. The best way to deal with the present, is to have all your wits about you so that you can choose interesting ways to address what is in front of you. When your thoughts, feelings and behaviours are devoted to the past or the future, you are robbing today! You cannot reach your potential and make good choices if you are trying to resolve issues from the past or predict the future.

Over the years I have watched people who get into trouble and realize that it is frequently because they have difficulty living in the present. Some focus on what "should" have happened or what "should" happen instead of on what "is" happening. They blame others for slights that occurred decades ago and unfortunately, they are usually the only one who remembers this. They have difficulty forgiving others or themselves and this prevents them from letting go and moving forward in a healthy manner.

Others think so much about all the things that "might" happen in the future that they are unable to enjoy what is going on right now. They expect the worst from relatives, the weather, government and a myriad of things that they not only cannot control but might actually never happen.

So how can you live in the present when you mind reverts to past injustices or future threats?

1. Create a peaceful environment. Organize your life in a way that incorporates positive blessings such as calm music, pleasant activities and healthy food.
2. Protect yourself from toxic triggers. Turn the television off so that you aren't inundated with negative news. Maintain good boundaries with people who are always draining you. Don't let their crisis become your crisis. Take breaks from the outside world by not always answering your phone or having your door open.
3. Say what you want (not what you don't want). Write and practice using affirmations.
4. Seek professional help to get you on the right track!

How to Repel Negative Energy Other People Send Your Way

Thoughts become things. We usually think about the things we want to manifest in life. Why is it that in spite of all the positive thinking and positive manifestation, negative stuff happens to people? Any ideas? Read on to find out.

The answer simply lies in the fact that there are negative people around you radiating negative energy your way, rebuking you in their minds and wanting the worst for you.

How did these people become so negative and opponents? Somehow somewhere in your attitude and conversations with them, they have been hurt and in return they want to hurt you. Worse still, some may be gossiping behind your back, talking ill of you and implanting a bad impression of you in others.

When you realize you are in this situation, stop playing victim and take charge of the situation. Say to yourself aloud, "I cease to be a victim."

Then face all the adversities, bracing yourself for the worst. That way the worst scenario will never show up. Your courage and brevity will erode the souls of your rivals and enemies. No longer they are the strong party and their negative energy radiating power will begin to diminish as well. In fact, they will even begin to feel helpless.

You can further fortify your surroundings by giving a benevolent speech to the people that matter most to you. Mention all the causes you believe in and how you want them to join in the quest of making the world a better place. You can include short anecdotes and humor stories from real life to better communicate and establish a rapport with these people by making them feel good. Talk about what you like to give away and contribute, persuading and convincing them to do something similar. Soon you will have a mob of supporters supporting you in your mission on this earth.

What happened to those previous rivals and enemies? Are they able to radiate any negative energy anyway now? Are they able to put a curse on you anyway? No, not all. Their group is divided up. Not all support them. What more, the main group will slowly chip at dispersing away to nil. They will see no point in harming you. You have a strong group out there to support and cheer for you. Those negative people have been immobilized and halted.

This is exactly how you repel the negative energy sent out by negative people your way, who have nothing better to do other than wishing for your harm and destruction. So I advised you earlier not to play victim role. And that is the start to take charge and skyrocket in life, accepting the love and affection of the people in your community who adore you and at the same time giving to them something generous in return. Thoughts do become things after all. Ha ha!!

You Think Meditation Is A Waste Of Time? Read On

So, you think meditation is a waste of time, your day is filled to the rim and the mere thought of adding yet another thing to your already overstuffed day is simply too much to contemplate.

In a world that is full of distractions you may be forgiven to think like this.

How often do you not follow through with a promise because something else just got in the way, or you simply forgot? If you follow your urges and get distracted easily you are not working efficiently, rather you are wasting your precious time.

Many executives and many millionaires swear by the power of regular meditation.

Any form of meditation calms the mind and reduces stress. However, guided transformational meditation goes way beyond that: It helps you design your life.

For example if you yield to your impulses, and who doesn't you can set the intention in the meditative state to change this behaviour and become more mindful. You are taken through a process to feel the new behaviour you want to adopt.

Meditation doesn't stop mishaps, but it makes life run smoother because it changes how you react to situations

If you are suffering with anxiety meditation will help you become calmer.

The other day I had to go to a meeting with a new client. I was a little late leaving and hit a traffic jam on the highway. I had left my mobile phone at home and couldn't contact my new client and I did not know the area and had to completely rely on my sat nav to get me there.

The typical default reaction of the mind in such a situation is agitation:

The untrained mind wanders off into all sorts of negative scenarios: What if I am going to be stuck for hours, what if the sat nav is wrong, it happened last week, what is my client going to think? This is probably the end of a great business relationship before it even began.

Instead of getting worked up over the situation I decided to use the time to meditate on getting to my client in time and imagined a perfect meeting. I focused on feeling calm and remain in a heart centred space.

The heart is an important part of the guided transformational practice because it magnifies and magnetises the outcome you desire

You always get what you focus on. Most of us have no idea how to direct the mind to focus on the right things.

As it so happened I managed to get to my new client only a few minutes late. The office was easy to find and we had a great first meeting. We agreed on a meditation training program for the senior executives in the office, my very favourite type of coaching. What could be better?

In being able to control my mental state I was radiating an energy that proved that I walk my talk

Have you noticed that when you radiate a high energy things seem to work out somehow? Now imagine what will happen in your life if you can control your thinking and direct it towards your desired outcomes? Imagine how much time and energy you'd free up if you did not have to react to every glitch? At the very least life would become more enjoyable and we know, it is a well researched fact that happy people have more successful lives.

The Power of Self-Talk

One of the most powerful 'tools' you can use is that of self-talk; this is where you talk to yourself as if it were a friend, family member, or coach. Self-talk allows you to hear perspectives from an outside source.

Self-talk can be done in both the positive and the negative. From a positive perspective, you can say affirmational words, such as 'I rock' or 'I am extremely talented.' Tony Robbins says to look yourself in a mirror and repeat 'you are beautiful' so those words 'stick' in your mind and reinforce positive patterns.

Self-talk on the negative side is when you challenge any negative, or derogatory, words or thoughts you are saying to yourself. Dr. Daniel Amen says to talk to yourself as if a teenager would: "you're really going to say that you aren't good enough - remember the time when... " Disrupting negative patterns will stop this behavior.

However, it's not enough to stop a negative thought as we need to replace it with a positive. From a neuroscientist perspective, we need three positive thoughts to override one negative which is why the positive words need to come. Consistency is what give mastery, so the more you keep saying positive thoughts the more you will maintain positive habits.

Living in the right side of our brain is what creates a more satisfied and happier life, where you will take risks and move towards your goals and dreams. Being creative through your passions or coming up with ideas, living in peace and love all elevate your mood and outlook. While you may have adversity, you won't look at them as doom and gloom but as what they are, which will allow you to find solutions to deal with them and to let them go.

I've had clients who have used this technique and find their outlook as happier; they feel less-stressed and calmer. Those annoying co-workers may just be having a bad day vs ignoring them, or getting angry; family members who have hurt us in some way can now be viewed as hurting themselves so their actions are not taken as an attack; past failures can now be forgiven and new resolves to learn from them as the norm.

Self-talk is a powerful tool to use to delete negative patterns and to override fears you have. An important step is to reinforce new behaviors you've developed so when you find yourself in a situation where you are holding back, you can remember a past success.

Our brains tend to hold onto negative thoughts, which then become predictors for the future; using self-talk to challenge that fear, and then remembering a past success, is what will move your forward. For example: as a child, do you remember when you were learning how to ride a bike? You started off with training wheels but then your parent said it's time to take them off and ride without them; you may have said no, or cried when it was time, because it was scary and you didn't want to fall. However, you did- but then you got up and tried again and again and, maybe, again, until you got it right.

When you want to learn a new task, and you don't think you can, go back and remember your experience of learning to ride a bike but the success you had; self-talk comes into play "See, you can do it - you didn't think you could but you did." This will change your whole outlook to move you in the direction you want to go.

Start today to use self-talk when you feel challenged and see how it positively impacts your life. Write down your new achievements as 'proof' - you will now be able to work off of them, as your self-efficacy and confidence increases, and to move you through fears that may arise.

Focus On Yourself And Not Others (One of the Best Speeches Ever)

One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they are constantly comparing themselves to others; this is damaging at best. One thing we must all be sure to be extremely weary of in this new cyber world of social media and Google is judging the showreel of those we see on-line by comparing it to our behind the scenes exclusive. The two can and will never compare and it's a practice that is guaranteed to leave you feeling deflated and worthless!

Focus on where you are today compared with where you were yesterday - nothing else matters.

Do you often find yourself comparing yourself to others? How does it make you feel?

What Are You Willing To Do To Have Impact?

Do you have a really powerful and vivid dream of the difference you'd like to make in the world, the impact you want to have? Or is your vision evolving?

Either way, whether or not that dream comes to life depends very much on the answer to these questions:

What are you willing to do to have impact? What are you willing to commit to?

When I was an undergrad in college, and really, from the time I was 10 years old, I wanted to be a doctor. When I applied to medical school and wasn't accepted, I was devastated, my dream shattered.

Looking back on it later, I realized that I hadn't been willing to do what it took to be accepted into medical school. I was able, but not willing. I was busy exploring the refreshing freedom of making my own decisions. Not by partying, since that's not my style, but by deciding how I wanted to spend my time in many small ways. At the time, my choices and my vision did not mesh.

Your impact is like that too. Your impact will remain an idea, a dream, until you take action with choices that align with your vision. You have to be willing to make the effort, to do the work of impact.

That can sound like a slog, a pushing from behind. And sometimes, it may feel that way.

But what really pulls you forward is motivation, a commitment to your vision, and a willingness to take action in a way that is consistent with your vision.

That commitment to aligned action takes shape in two ways:

1. Define who you need to be in order to have the impact you want to have, then become that person.

You have hidden capacities that have not yet been fully brought to light. Your impact vision may now call these capacities forward.

For example, as an entrepreneur, you're already a leader. How is your impact vision going to require you to lead? For ideas, look around you. What leader models behavior that you'd like to adopt yourself? What skills do you want to learn that will help you lead?

By learning and practicing through modeling, you'll be able to grow into that person.

Impact isn't a spectator sport. You've got to step into the arena and start practicing.

It can seem like a daunting thing to just show up as someone else. Fortunately, it's not often accomplished by big leaps. Rather, it's something you choose, every day.

Which brings us to #2:

2. Decide how you want to show up, every day.

How you choose to behave in relation to yourself and others is a big indicator of your commitment to your impact vision. You may be wondering what that looks like for you. Here are a couple of examples to consider:

Are you compassionate? Do you care about people and show it by paying attention in your interactions?

Or are you dismissive? Do you show people that they are not worthy of your time in the way you rush around, barely pausing to glance at them?

This is the micro-level of impact. Your daily choices about how you show up do accumulate. They add up to become who you are.

How you show up affects your choice of actions.

And the actions you choose affect how you show up.

In this happy interrelationship, how you show up affects your attitude and changes how you act. When you act in a way that is aligned with how you want to show up, with the impact you want to have, you are being that person you need to be to have the impact you want to have and that inspires you further.

To have impact, when is the best time to put these changes into action? Right now!

Your impact vision without action is just a dream. It can never come to life.

You're a dreamer, a visionary. You've started a business, right?

That's not the whole equation, though, when it comes to impact. People who remain only dreamers stay stalled with an idea. That is not you. You want to have impact. You're also an action-taker.

Developing yourself to become the person who can have that impact is part of your action. You can take action every day, by showing up as the person who can have that impact.

Are you willing to do what it takes to have impact?

Waiting until you are a more established business with a team of employees to worry about your corporate culture can have a negative impact on your business as you forget about the very ideals that make your business startup who it is. With a little bit of management and foresight now, you can craft a corporate culture that follows your business startup's vision, values, mission, and expected behaviors.

Find Your Purpose

Start by thinking about what the vision for your business really is. You need to think about where you where you are headed and where you want to go. Having some direction early on with your business startup will give you, as well as your employees, something to work towards and aim for. The decisions and choices you make should directly support your vision and allow you to drive your company well into the future.

Along with your vision, you need to create the values that your business startup stands for. This is an important step as this will carve out the ideals of your brand and expectations of your employees. Your employees are just as much a reflection of your business as you are and having values that they can live up to can bring a strong reputation and recognition to your company.

Spread the Message

Once you have developed a vision strategy for your business startup, you need to be vocal about it. You can't expect your team to catch on if they are unaware of its evolution. Spread the message and allow yourself to be transparent about its meaning to you. Allowing yourself to be open and communicative about how your vision and values align with the success of your business startup can create the buzz your company needs to take it to the next level.

Hire According to Your Values

As you add to your team, you need to find the right fit when it comes to your company culture. You want to hire employees that display your brand values as it will be an easier transition into your corporate culture to respect and stand behind what your business stands for.

As you work to select employees to work at your business startup find out what your values mean to them. Look for ways that they already integrate these values into their daily life. A prospective employee that possess experience, as well as your core values, can be a valuable addition to your business startup as they can bring that positivity your corporate culture needs. You can count on them to spread your vision message to others as well as be contagious to other employees that may have not fully onboard with your company purpose.

Reward and Appreciate

It's always nice to offer your employees perks, but as a business startup, the funding may not be there to give a lot. Recognition of your team goes a long way especially for those that display your company values in the work that they do. Develop a reward system to appreciate those that are incorporating the vision of your business startup with customers or in their work responsibilities and choices they make on a day-to-day basis. This small act can boost your corporate culture and make your business startup a company that employee value and cherish.

Think About The Past

With a focus on the future it can be easy to forget about your past, but how your started and where you came from is the very foundation that shaped your business today. Think about your history and the hard work that took to get where your business startup is today. Allow your employees to also understand the story behind your company and what it took to get it to its beginning stages.

Your past is a significant part of the strength of your business and most likely is what you drew your values from. Your employees need to understand the motivation and drive that propelled your business startup forward. Be upfront about your history and embrace it with a furry as it is the sole reason you are in the position you are today. When your employees see your roots, this will impact how they feel about the company and the vision that you have created to take it into the future.

Focus Daily On Your Culture

It is not enough to create your vision and values and be done with your corporate culture. It needs constant cultivation to prevent it from going to the wayside and becoming negative in a blink of an eye. You have an amazing opportunity as a business startup to start your corporate culture from the ground up as it is much easier to manage then change.

Make it a part of your routine to enforce the vision and lead by your company values. With you focus on maintaining a corporate culture that employees enjoy being a part of, you will reap the benefits from their improved productivity and performance.

When you focus on your corporate culture from the beginning stages of your business startup, you can easily create an environment that is positive for all that work there. You will see behaviors that are in line with your core values and strength in your corporate vision. The work starts now but will be well worth your efforts.

How waking up every day at 4.30am can change your life | Filipe Castro M...

I always used to tell myself that I was NOT a morning person, and then my mentor told me to read The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. That book changed my life; sure, I was sceptical - but I tried it anyway.

As soon as I started hauling my arse out of bed early in the morning, everything started to change for me. Discipline equals freedom and if you want freedom in your life then you need to be disciplined enough to do the things you need to do to get it!

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

A Healthier Attitude In Stressful Times

As human beings, we are continually faced with challenges, difficulties and temporary setbacks. They are an unavoidable aspect of being human. By learning how to manage stress and respond with a positive attitude to each challenge, we'll grow as a person and start moving forward in life. In fact, without those setbacks, we could not learn what you need to know and develop the qualities to where we are today.

It is natural to us to react emotionally when our expectations are frustrated in any way. When something we wanted and hoped for fails to materialize, we feel a temporary sense of disappointment and unhappiness.

The optimistic person, however, knows how to manage stress in difficult situations and soon moves beyond this disappointment. Responding quickly to the adverse event and interprets it as being temporary, the optimist responds with a positive attitude, knows how to manage stress and counter the negative feelings by immediately reframing the event to turn into a positive one. Whenever you have a difficulty, immediately reframe it, choose to view it as a challenge, and start moving forward. Challenge is inherently positive. It is something that makes you stronger and better.

The best way to maintain a positive attitude and manage stress is to turn it into an opportunity. When you are faced with a difficulty of any kind, faced with an unexpected opportunity. Neutralize any negative thoughts or emotions by speaking to yourself positively all the time.

You must learn to manage stress and survive above the difficulties in order to be a better person. Welcome each difficulty and then look into the situation to find the good in it. Start moving forward in life by keeping your thoughts on your goals, dreams, and on the person, you are working toward becoming. When things go wrong temporarily, resolve to maintain a positive attitude, be cheerful, and resist every temptation toward negativity and disappointment. View disappointment as an opportunity to grow stronger and wiser.

It's very easy to be dragged down by the stress and pressure of everyday life. Once you feel really down, it's even easier to stay there, beaten and tired, muddling from day-to-day. The choice to live your life with a more positive attitude is always the right choice. But it is a choice that will take work and time.

Focus on what you do have rather than what you could have, you can decrease the amount of time you spend wishing and increase the time you spend appreciating the things that are happening in your life. But sometimes, this can lead to the things in life becoming mundane and harder to appreciate. Shaking up this pattern should help you to break up the routine and see your life in a new light.

As human beings, stress is a part of life. It is inevitable. What's important is how we respond to those challenges in a different perspective.
